I'm from California and I spent a few months working on a project in Richmond, BC. Everytime I was at Aberdeen Centre I had to have the hainan chicken combo from this place!

*FOOD- 5/5 The Hainan Chicken Combo was my favorite from the food court. It came with juicy fragrant boneless chicken, the fluffiest rice, two different tangy sauces that pulled all the flavors together, and a side of soup that often came with a chunk of pumpkin in it.

*LOCATION- 5/5 Located inside of Aberdeen Centre Mall. This mall has a large food court with so many delicious asian cuisines & desserts.

*PARKING- 4/5 They offer meter parking on the streets (be careful! They do check!) They also have a parking garage.

*CLEANLINESS 3.5/5 After spending some time at the mall, let's just say don't expect the food court to be squeaky clean. I've never gotten sick from eating here. But if I had to rate this stall alone, it seemed fairly clean they wear gloves to handle the food.

Saturday lunch and heard about this spot for Hainanese chicken so had to try as I got it with soup. The line moved fast and my order was out within minutes.

The chicken itself was tender and not too flavorful unless dipped in the chili sauces which were really nice. The chicken itself was very lukewarm, almost cold which had me worried. Is it normally like so? The rice had some hard pieces which wasn't a big deal but not the best

A little pricey as it came out to 10.65 before tax, it's a bit more than what I was used to for a mall food court but the portion was a full plate. I hope to try Hainanese chicken again and become familiar with it more

This place has the best Hainanese chicken in town! So reasonable with side of rice and soup!

Typical Asian service in food court, don't expect a smile.

I've had Seafood Laksa and Hainanese Chicken here before, and I have to say Seafood Laksa isn't worth it. It has imitation crabs with few shrimps , but soup tasted good though. It also came with thick noodle with super thin vermicelli, and soup tasted good. I'd recommend Hainanese Chicken Rice here instead. or maybe Chicken Laksa. (just NO Seafood Laksa really)

We love the Hainanese chicken rice here! There aren't many places that do chicken rice properly but we feel Cafe D'Lite does for sure. The chicken is soft with lots of flavour. The rice is is delicious as well! We have also tried the laksa, but that was not very memorable. We will come back for the chicken rice for sure though.
